This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Bridge Inspection - Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Structures Bridge Design team in New England. This role can be based out of Boston & Worcester, MA, Providence, RI, Merrimac, NH or Glastonbury, CT.

Your Impact
- Work with our Bridge Design team on a variety of project development and design tasks.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance for inspections, rehabilitation, and load rating of existing bridges, culverts, and structures as well as improvement and / or construction of new structures.
- Assist with the development of plans / sketches using AutoCAD.
- Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work.
- Generate accurate and concise reports and documentation regarding material, installations, and construction specifications.
- Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Learn basic principles of bridge and transportation engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
