Responsibilities
Qualifications / Certification. All candidates must have a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree is a plus. Georgia certification or other state certification preferred in ELA content or willingness / eligibility to pursue a teaching certification.
Prior Experience. Minimum 4 years full-time literacy teaching experience in grades 5 - 8 with a track record for raising and sustaining scholar achievement in both general and special education populations. Teaching experience in a small group and intervention setting and acceleration / gifted setting. Minimum 3 years management experience of teams. Strong project and time management skills; ability to effectively backward plan, juggle multiple priorities with great attention to detail, and deliver consistent and timely results. Sense of humility, urgency, and customer service mindset. Excellent ability to proactively solve problems. Demonstrates excellent organizational, project planning, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Relationship builder at core.
