About the Opportunity
The role of Deputy Chief of Instructional Excellence is to create, implement, and progress
monitor the execution of the strategic plan for curriculum high quality curriculum
implementation and instruction in service of improving academic achievement outcomes in
conformance with organizational and state goals and objectives, and within budget guidelines.
This role is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a diverse and dynamic Team and Family
committed to building academically excellent, and critically conscious schools in KIPP Texas.
The Candidate
Successful candidates must demonstrate a deep belief in the capacity of all students to
achieve at high levels, demonstrate strong instructional expertise and have the ability to work
collaboratively with a diverse set of leaders and teachers to improve student
achievement. Additionally,
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Successful School Leader Manager
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Successful School Leader
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience leading organizational

The starting point for the salary range for this position is $140,000 and is commensurate upon experience and internal-equity.
