Instrumentation technician Jobs in Milwaukee, WI

Our client in the manufacturing space is looking for an E & I Technician to join their maintenance team onsite at their facility in the Wood County area of Wisconsin.

You will have a high attention to detail, be safety oriented and bring 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry and be responsible for preventative maintenance throughout the plant, be superior in troubleshooting and diagnosing as well as project related work.

Compensation is relative to experience and ranges from $40-$46 per hour with comprehensive benefits and 401K

Schedule is Monday through Friday, dayshift. You must be available to work occasional on-call rotations (after hours / weekends)

Requirements :

• Journeyman Electrician / Instrumentation Technician
• 3-5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Must have experience with high voltage (up to 4K)
• Be familiar with NFPA Arc Flash protocols
• Bring a background in IEEE standards (an asset)
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment or independently
• Must be able to read electrical drawings, ladder logic, loop drawings and other electrical drawings
• Must pass pre-employment checks (medical / drug screen / background check)
• Must be able to work occasional on-call rotations as needed.
• Must be living in the area and authorized to work for any US employer
