divh2Commercial Insurance Coverage Analyst / h2pAnalyze insurance coverage for commercial loans in accordance with investor guidelines. Assist borrowers in acquiring appropriate coverage. Inform, and educate borrowers about coverages, exclusions, and exposure. Provide technical support to Production / Underwriting / Closing staff specifically in analyzing borrower needs against Investor guidelines and risk to the company. / ppPrimary responsibilities include : / pulliMain point of contact on insurance questions, coverage requirements, and Investor guidelines. / liliReview Investor insurance guidelines and loan documents to establish baseline requirements. / liliReview Loan Documents, Appraisals, Engineering, Seismic and Zoning reports, and any other third-party report to determine loan specific insurance requirements. / liliAs needed, perform review of insurance certificates, policies, statement of values and invoices to determine compliance with Investor guidelines. / liliRun flood determinations and analyze the potential flood risk. / liliProcess Insurance Waivers / Exceptions / Gaps with supporting documentation for non-compliant insurance issues. / liliResponsible for maintaining insurance data in Box, Salesforce, and any other Data Application as applicable. / liliWork with the outside insurance consultants to ensure the insurance reviews are being completed according to the specific loan insurance requirements. / liliWork with and assist the Insurance Servicing division as needed. / liliSecure and approve invoices for services rendered by outside insurance consultants. / liliPerform other duties as assigned. / liliAttendance is generally required from 8 : 30 am 5 : 30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. / li / ulpEducation and experience required : / pulliBachelors degree or equivalent experience. / liliMinimum of 5 years of insurance experience. / liliProfessional designations such as Licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent, CIC, CPCU, ARM, AU, AINS or equivalent is preferred, but not required. / li / ulpKnowledge, skills, and abilities : / pulliAbility to work as a part of a team, while providing a strong individual contribution. / liliExcellent attention to detail, judgment, flexibility, accountability, and dependability. / liliRequires excellent communication skills, written and oral, through all levels of the organization. / liliStrong time management and organizational skills. / liliAbility to work in a high-volume and demanding environment. / liliAbility to manage assigned tasks and workload according to deadlines. / liliAbility to adapt to changes and prioritize / manage workload accordingly. / liliHigh level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). / liliAbility to show ownership of your work, take on challenges, acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes. / liliClear knowledge of Commercial Insurance Coverage - Property, (including Flood, Wind, Earthquake and Terrorism), General Liability (including Workers Comp and Auto), Professional Liability and Umbrella / Excess Liability Insurance. / li / ulpThis position has an estimated base salary of $75,000 - $90,000 plus discretionary bonus.
