JOB OVERVIEW :
The Claims Associate primarily handles administrative tasks and assisting claims adjusters with day-to-day tasks in claims management, payments, and reimbursements. This role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of the insurance industry and grow!
LOCATION : Carmel, IN - In-office 5 days a week
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to) :
- Receive daily mail for assigned accounts and open and scan mail to appropriate team member or department.
- Prepare and process payments received via manual checks in claims system.
- Route payment information to Accounting department.
- Process Social Security and Disability reimbursements for remittance to assigned accounts.
- Answers phone calls and transfer to appropriate team member or department.
- Assists Claims Adjuster with their processing duties.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
