The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Insurance Verification Specialist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate insurance qualification of incoming and backlogged orders for our life-saving medical products. You will serve as a key liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders-including sales teams, customer service representatives, physicians, and patients-delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Accurately verify and qualify insurance coverage for new and existing patient orders.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service) and external customers to resolve order-related issues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Communicate patient financial responsibility when applicable.
• Maintain compliance with payer requirements and company policies.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Support rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Required Qualifications :

• Highschool Diploma or GED
• 3 years in insurance authorization or verification or medical billing OR bachelor's degree in healthcare
• Strong Soft Skills
• Computer skills (specifically in excel)

Desired Qualifications :

• Experience with Health Insurance claims, billing, or authorization
• Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook email
