Verifying large insurance plans : A good understanding of CPT codes and providing the patients a good breakdown of their financial responsibility by being courteous to them. Top rated specialty medical group in Laguna Woods, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Front Office / Insurance Verification Specialist. Position is working all front and verifying insurance plans in a large General Surgery Medical Group.
Summary :
Title : Insurance Verification Specialist
Hourly Pay Rate : $22-$23 p / hour
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8AM to 4 : 30PM, could start as early as 5 : 30am on surgery days.
Start Date : Immediate
Location : Laguna Woods, CA
- Bilingual, Spanish is a plus and surgery background!
Duties :
Position Requirements
HALO Staffing Group works with the largest and best hospital systems and offers top-pay and full benefits. This includes United Health HMO or PPO (your choice), dental coverage, and matching 401K, plus paid sick time, and holidays.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
