About the Role
Support the Interior Design Team in managing the production team’s activities.
Translate design intent into effective and compliant technical solutions, taking ownership of technical design throughout all project stages as applicable.
Develop detailed BIM models for interior design projects, including architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) elements.
Ensure that interior design models are coordinated with other disciplines and resolve any clashes or conflicts by conducting regular model audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications from the BIM model for construction and fabrication purposes.
Accept responsibility for the timely delivery of technical documentation across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to fee budgets and quality standards.
Work closely with interior designers, architects, and engineers to integrate interior design elements into the overall building model.
Under the guidance of the team leader, plan the production of documentation that aligns with the architectural design intent, and direct the technical team in developing effective technical solutions.
Promote and further develop technical quality tools and guidelines within the office.
Ensure all documentation complies with current legislation, authority regulations, and building codes by maintaining, enhancing, and applying technical knowledge.
Participate in site visits and construction technical monitoring meetings as required.
Adhere to BIM standards and protocols, ensuring that all models meet industry and project-specific requirements.
Review prints against drawings from other disciplines and provide solutions for coordination issues to the team leader.
Utilize BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Autocad, Navisworks, and other relevant tools to create and manage models.
Share technical knowledge and experience with the team, mentoring and coaching junior technicians, while demonstrating high levels of professional behaviour.
What do we need from you
B.S. Degree in Interior Design.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on interior design projects.
Strong interest in and knowledge of current products and design trends.
Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Previous experience working on large‑scale commercial or residential interior design projects in the UAE.
Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and construction methods.
Familiarity with FF&E suppliers, products, and materials.
Confident in liaising with suppliers to request information and samples.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Photoshop, Indesign. MS Office and other relevant tools.
Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
