Interior Designer Opportunity-Long-term and Full-time!

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Interior Designer with experience in multifamily, cultural, educational, and / or institutional projects. The Interior Designer will work alongside other Interior Designers to develop and design the interiors for a major institutional project in NYC. There will be opportunities in the future to design interiors for multi-family residential and cultural projects. This position is a full-time, long-term opportunity with full benefits.

Responsibilities

Produce drawings and renderings
Create presentations for clients
Work with construction documents
Select furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
Mentor junior designers on projects

Essential Skills

Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Interior Design

6+ years of professional experience

Proficiency in Revit

Experience designing large scale and complex projects in educational, civic, healthcare, and multi-family sectors

Strong understanding of design and technical aspects of projects

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to collaborate well with internal and external team members and consultants

Work Environment

Our culture is very collaborative, allowing you to speak and work with many people throughout the firm. We also offer lunch and learns and different happy hour events.

Th e office is open and spacious, overlooking the water with plenty of natural light.

Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The work hours are from 9 : 00am to 6 : 00pm normally-full work week.
