Keeley Construction is looking to hire an Interior Designer to join our Building Group in St. Louis, MO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create interior design concepts using common and essential design and documentation tools.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to arrive at the best interior design solutions for the client, within the practical constraints of budget, schedule, and quality.
- Develop the 2d and 3d images and media necessary to convey interior design concepts and then present them to the client.
- Specify finishes and furniture with a real-world understanding of their associated installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with LEED concepts and process, and other similar sustainability ratings systems.
- Coordinate with other design and construction professionals to ensure proposed concepts can be practically executed.
- Review submittals and shop drawings during construction.
- Visit sites under construction to help ensure expectations and standards are being met.
- Participate in industry conventions and fundraising events.
- Communicate with local product and manufacturer representatives to understand and facilitate growing yours and the team's knowledge and awareness of interior design, materials, and systems.
- Communicate with clients to understand their wants and needs.
