Summary:

You will work with the IT application development team to support and document Finance and Human Resource business application areas. This role offers the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of systems supporting retail operations by partnering with IT and business stakeholders to maintain and improve applications.

Essential Functions:

• Work directly with IT analysts and business areas to define requirements, analyze, and design systems to meet evolving retail business requirements.
• Perform discovery and analysis to understand business partner needs and design creative technical solutions.
• Create and maintain system and process documentation.
• Configure and validate application modules while customizing or personalizing pages to streamline task flows.
• Provide ongoing testing and support of software updates.
• Develop code and test programs based on defined specifications.
• Develop Oracle E-Business data integrations and maintain custom Oracle applications for areas such as Payroll, HR, and Benefits.
• Build out the IT Application Documentation Repository for Finance and HR/Legal applications.
• Assist with Oracle Advanced Benefits configuration testing for the 2026 Annual Enrollment.
• Develop and test new 3rd party data integrations and assist with EBS APEX proof-of-concept projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively to assess requests.
• Working knowledge of relational database theory and operation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-priority, and results-oriented environment.
• Must be proficient in MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Preferred knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, or other Oracle development tools.
• Preferred knowledge of Financial and Human Resource business application processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Data Analytics, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Preferred experience developing applications running on Oracle databases or developing data integrations using APIs.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to look at computer monitors for extended periods; use of hands/fingers for typing.

Work Environment:

Traditional office environment; must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
