Payroll Intern
Job Summary :
Hillpointe LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in payroll processing, compliance, and HR support functions. The intern will primarily assist in payroll-related tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll operations while supporting benefits administration and general HR duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
Payroll Support
- Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
- Verify timesheets, reconcile payroll discrepancies, and maintain payroll records.
- Help ensure proper tax withholding and deductions.
- Assist in multi-EIN Payroll including bonuses and commissions.
- Support in generating payroll reports and maintaining payroll databases.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Assist in payroll audits and compliance checks.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company payroll policies.
