Your role at Clorox :

The Assistant Manager Internal Audit is a trusted risk advisor charged with supporting the International business unit in identifying and managing a wide range of business, financial, technology, compliance, and operational risks while strengthening The Clorox Company’s internal controls. As an assistant manager in internal audit, you will execute audits and monitor and improve the overall internal control environment across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Australia, working closely with the Financial Reporting Controls team, process owners and key stakeholders.

In this role, you will :

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

Audit Execution

Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits across the international business unit.

Identify and assess risks, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure work meets the Institute of Internal Audit applicable standards.

Risk Monitoring

Proactivelymonitoraudit findings and remediation plans, work with process owners to develop and activate robust project plan to drive timely remediation.

Monitor compliance with policies and strive for consistency in policies across region. As needed, create and maintain enhanced compliance policies.

Monitor sustainability of internal control efforts in partnership Financial Reporting Controls team.

Assess impact of organizational changes on control environment.

Assist in the development of controls monitoring program and facilitate the program, working with business unit leadership.

Communication

Partner with key leaders to strengthen tone from the top across functions and leadership teams.

Lead training and education throughout region partnering focused on importance of controls, roles and responsibilities, SOX and operational controls.

Liaise with General Managers and functions as the first point of contact for control inquiries and issues.

Research and communicate updated rules, regulations, and best practices for a solid control environment across the regions.

Project Management

Effectively use resources available to complete projects on time and within budget, including the use of external consultants

Continuously evaluate methodology and practices to identify ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness

What we look for :

4+ years of experience

BA or BS Degree (Accounting, Finance,Business or related field)

Relevant certification(s) preferred (CIA, CPA, CISA, or similar professional certification)

Big 4 public accounting or Corporatecontrols / internal audit experience in a multi-national public company.

SAP or other ERP system experience preferred

ExperiencewithAuditBoardpreferred.

Experience with fraud risk assessment

Consumer products industry experience preferred.

Knowledge of internal audit principles and practices; with knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).

Well-developed oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate and coach upwards and downwards.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate and enhance internal controls.

Robust data analytics experience and the ability to develop performance monitoring tools

Ability to work on cross-functional activities and form solid business relationships across functions

Well organized with ability to prioritize and self-manage workload

Ability to travel up to50%

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

Zone A : $86,600 - $161,900–Zone B : $79,400 - $148,400–Zone C : $72,100 - $134,900
