Job description

Responsibilities

include :

  • Provide quality ASL-spoken English interpretation in a timely manner.
  • Support managing the ASL interpreting schedule and reports to various customers.
  • Mentor and review work of novice interpreters
  • Maintain adherence to the RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Here's what you need :

  • RID Certified interpreter.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a currently RID Certified interpreter working in a fast paced and technical settings
  • Strong voicing skills
  • Experience with solving difficult, complex ethical problems involving consideration of multiple issues and job areas

    • Bonus points if you have :

  • MA / MS Degree in ASL Interpretation
  • 5+ years of working in a Business / Government setting with highly complex technical jargon

    • Security Clearance :

  • Active Secret Clearance

    • Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in ASL Interpretation or equivalent experience
    • Work Schedule :
  • Hybrid
