Shift : 58s | 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM | One call weekend per month
Duration : 13-week assignment (potential extension)
Position Summary
A skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist is needed for a contract role in Hartford, CT. This position performs advanced IR procedures, maintains high imaging standards, and ensures patient comfort and safety throughout the exam process.
Essential Responsibilities
Perform high-quality IR procedures following established protocols and timelines
Utilize AIDET for patient communication and ensure correct exam execution
Prepare procedure room, position patients, and set appropriate exposure factors
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique
Maintain equipment cleanliness, report technical issues, and assist with inventory management
Screen all individuals entering the imaging area per approved guidelines
Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging records accurately
Collaborate with imaging engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance
Requirements
Citizenship : US Citizen or Green Card holder
Certification : ARRT License required
Experience : Minimum 1+ year of Interventional Radiology experience
Shift : 58s, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM, plus one call weekend per month
