Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Inventory Control Specialist to lead and optimize inventory operations within a dynamic aerospace environment. This role is critical to ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across global sites, with a strong emphasis on aviation standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in inventory control systems, SAP, and cycle counting methodologies, along with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive continuous improvement. This position plays a key role in supporting audit readiness, cost accuracy, and operational excellence in a high-complexity logistics setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of global inventory control strategies, ensuring alignment with aviation industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee and continuously improve cycle counting processes across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
• Manage inventory audits, adjustments, and reconciliation processes, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation.
• Monitor and report inventory KPIs, including accuracy, shrinkage, and turnover, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure SAP inventory transactions are executed correctly and efficiently, including kit preparation, bin location management, and cost corrections.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits related to inventory control.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to address inventory discrepancies, non-conformities, and process improvements.
• Champion Lean principles in inventory operations, driving standardization and waste reduction.
• Train and mentor inventory control personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control will also be considered, regardless of formal educational background. However, professional experience will be verified to ensure alignment with the requirements and responsibilities of the role.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in inventory control, preferably within the aerospace or aviation industry.
• Strong background in SAP and inventory management systems.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in aviation (e.g., FAA, EASA) is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
• Advanced knowledge of inventory control principles, auditing practices, and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), SAP, and document management systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• High level of integrity and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
