Summary
Maintains inventory levels, inventory adjustments, purchase price, and unit of measure, as needed. Coordinates inventory adjustment control, explanation, analysis, audit, and expedites low and / or stock–out orders at the lowest total in–cost. Communicates stock shortages, prospective fill dates, and suitable substitutes.
Job Duties
- Coordinates yearly physical inventory and cycle counting activities throughout the year.
- Assists with process to ensure new products or changed products are brought into stock in a timely manner.
- Prepares usage analysis reports on a regular basis to establish optimal levels of inventory.
- Performs master file maintenance updates to facilitate the inventory replenishment process.
- Oversees counting process, establishes counting teams, and secures reports and materials for yearly physical inventory.
