Job Description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies through the use of Epicor ERP system and other tools. The role involves walking or standing for 8-10 hours per day and working in various weather elements. Additionally, the position requires the ability to decipher colors and accurately count various product types to ensure proper data entry into the ERP system. The Inventory Clerk's work plays a critical part in maintaining inventory levels, reducing shipping errors, and supporting both internal and external customers.

The Inventory Clerk will perform essential duties while embracing the core values that define our work culture. These core values guide the tasks performed every day to ensure the highest level of service, integrity, and excellence.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing or walking for 8-10 hours per day, maintaining high quality and attention to detail while ensuring inventory is properly counted and recorded.

  • Embrace the company’s mission by ensuring all inventory data entered into the Epicor ERP system is accurate, on time, and in line with our commitment to "Make it Right and Ship When Promised."

Count inventory accurately to ensure that all items are correctly identified and entered in the ERP system, supporting both internal and external customers with reliable data.

  • Communicate with Transaction Control and management to resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring trust and transparency in inventory records.

    Ensure all cycle counts and inventory management tasks are completed thoroughly and on time, honoring the commitment to uphold high standards of integrity and quality in the work performed.

  • Report any discrepancies between physical stock and company records, taking immediate action to address and correct issues and ensuring accurate communication with all stakeholders.

    • Education, Work Experience, and Proficiencies :

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Forklift Certification preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of ERP / RF systems preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with general supervision, performing routine tasks independently and seeking guidance only when needed.

    • Physical Demands :

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods.
  • Ability to use hands / arms to reach, handle, or manipulate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to work in various areas of the plant, including exposure to wet, humid, or adverse weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Excellent vision, including the ability to distinguish colors and identify discrepancies.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods while counting and inspecting inventory.
