Job description
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy of all inventory in a fast-paced staging warehouse. This role involves overseeing inventory movement, implementing best practices to optimize stock levels, and ensuring seamless inventory support for staging operations
You Will :
Ensure the inventory on-hand of furniture and home décor is accurate and record all movements in and out of inventory location(s).
Implement systems and software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.
Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures.
Meticulously record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
Maintain a well-organized and clearly labeled physical inventory of component parts, materials, furniture and home décor.
Proactively place orders to replenish stock and avoid insufficiencies or excessive surplus.
Evaluate data to anticipate future needs.
You Are :
A talented individual with 3+ years of proven dynamic entrepreneurial experience as an inventory analyst or similar position.
A wealth of knowledge when it comes to data analysis, forecasting methods and inventory management software (e.g. ERP).
Able to accurately track inventory and create reports.
Outstanding when it comes to communication and interpersonal abilities.
A college graduate with a BS / BA in business administration, logistics or relevant field.
Adept with Excel and possess a good mastery of how to fully utilize it.
