Ability to work both independently and as a team player. Organizational skills; able to plan time and work effort effectively with attention to details. Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify critical situations and use good judgment to respond in a timely manner and if needed, consult appropriate personnel before making critical decisions. Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus. Other duties may be assigned as needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values. Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a distribution center environment. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Forklift experience and certification. Overview : Inventory Control Supervisor - Distribution Center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of inventory control, ensuring timely and accurate stock replenishment, minimizing discrepancies, and maximizing overall warehouse productivity.
Responsibilities :
- Inventory Oversight :
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze inventory metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership :
- Lead and motivate a team of inventory control specialists to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide training and support to ensure team members are proficient in inventory management best practices.
- Technology Integration :
- Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and coordinate with the IT department for implementation.
- Quality Assurance :
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy of received and shipped products.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Reporting and Analysis :
- Generate regular reports on inventory performance, variances, and trends. Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
