Trillium Construction is currently seeking an experienced Controller in Construction Accounting for our client in Broken Arrow, OK.

The Controller position must have an-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), risk management and supervising subordinates and compliance with federal regulations, maximize profits, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

Document, monitor and update accounting policies

Accounts payables and sub-contractor payments

Payroll of 300 to 400 employees

Billings and accounts receivables

Banking ACH, positive pay, reconciliation, etc.

Prepare monthly annual financial for three companies and prepare ad-hoc reports when requested

Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems

Perform internal audits and assist with external audits

Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and payroll regulations

Manage / supervise a staff of five subordinates

This is a direct-hire opportunity and the annual salary is $125k / year. Apply now!

Skill Sets

Work experience as a Controller or similar role

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation

Hands-on experience with general ledger, payroll, account payables and account receivables

Experience with cash management and risk assessment

Strong knowledge of ERP accounting software

Strong computer skills

Attention to detail

BS in Accounting
