Pay Rate : $17.31
- 82 pay bump when Tech In Training is achieved
- 82 pay bump when Pharmacy Technician License achieved
Schedule : Mandatory OT may be required
Mon 9am - 7 : 30pm)
Tues - Fri 8am - 4 : 30
Saturday (Rotational) Every 3rd Saturday (12pm - 8 : 30pm)
Job Description :
The Inventory Assistant supports pharmacy operations by ensuring accurate product receiving, stocking, and organization. Responsibilities include unloading shipments, verifying inventory against purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
Receive and verify shipments, ensuring product accuracy and proper storage.
Use handheld scanners to process incoming inventory.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
Report discrepancies, such as shortages, overages, or damaged goods.
Organize inventory using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
Assist with product recalls, quarantines, and returns.
Support warehouse operations, including packing and shipping prescriptions.
Follow DSCSA, HIPAA, and safety regulations .
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Warehouse and RF scanner experience a plus.
Basic computer and math skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift 20-25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and use warehouse equipment.
Working Conditions
General office and warehouse environment
Able to select, lift, and carry objects (up to 20 25 lbs) on a regular basis.
Operate pallet jack, hand truck, or dolly.
Safe operation of a box cutter to cut cases of product.
Extensive walking and standing (8+ hours / day)
Requires bending, twisting, reaching and grasping.
Use of step ladder to reach product
