Interim Controller- Kansas
American Consultants is looking for an interim Controller for a facility in Wichita KS.
Position Summary :
The Interim Controller will oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting during a transitional period. This leadership role will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with accounting principles, and alignment with company policies and regulations. The Interim Controller will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, financial statements, budgeting, and internal controls, while working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to provide insights into the organization's financial performance. This is a temporary, leadership position intended to maintain financial stability and operational continuity.
Key responsibilities will include overseeing month-end and year-end closing, preparing financial statements, ensuring proper compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic financial advice to leadership. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, and team management, with the ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
