Job Overview
We are seeking a Temp to Perm detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing supply chain processes. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse management, data analysis, and procurement practices to support our operational goals effectively.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Equiptment Operator
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in stock counts.
- Collaborate with supply chain management to streamline warehouse distribution processes.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory movements and reporting discrepancies.
- Analyze data for root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in purchasing decisions by evaluating supplier performance and negotiating contracts.
- Support demand planning efforts through effective data collection and analysis.
- Manage e-commerce inventory to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping & receiving processes.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in materials handling and inventory control.
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for reporting inventory metrics.
