SUMMARY :
The Inventory Control Lead role is crucial for efficient and effective management of United Tote’s supply chain operations.
If you have a keen eye for detail, analytical prowess, and exceptional communication skills to forge strong partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control of United Tote inventory, within established Churchill Downs Inc. guidelines, with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize the workflow.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other internal / external partners to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and track inventory movement to identify potential discrepancies, variances or issues.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations to Management on inventory control strategies and purchasing decisions.
- Implement and manage day-to-day operation of Asset Panda inventory tracking application.
- Manage regular cycle count program , initiate recounts when needed, and monitor the hardware inventory across customer’s sites.
- Utilize, own and understand processes as they pertain to financial month-end activies.
- Identify end of life equipment and collaborate with cross functional teams to determine replacements and process for eliminating the EOL equipment from the Field Operations.
- Participate in various special events as business dictates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
