Job descriptionBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred), Supply Chain Management or related field or combination of work experience. 3-5 years of inventory control, warehouse and distribution experience. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively analyze inventory data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in MS Office tools and inventory management software (Asset Panda knowledge a plus) Ability to apply and maintain any required regulatory license(s) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, sometimes for prolonged periods, while working at a desk, on the phone, and the computer; type on a computer keyboard; use hands to finger, handle or feel; talk or hear; reach with hands or arms; walk or stand; and perform some repetitive motion activities. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. SUMMARY :
The Inventory Control Lead role is crucial for efficient and effective management of United Tote’s supply chain operations.
If you have a keen eye for detail, analytical prowess, and exceptional communication skills to forge strong partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control of United Tote inventory, within established Churchill Downs Inc. guidelines, with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize the workflow.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other internal / external partners to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and track inventory movement to identify potential discrepancies, variances or issues.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations to Management on inventory control strategies and purchasing decisions.
- Implement and manage day-to-day operation of Asset Panda inventory tracking application.
- Manage regular cycle count program , initiate recounts when needed, and monitor the hardware inventory across customer’s sites.
- Utilize, own and understand processes as they pertain to financial month-end activies.
- Identify end of life equipment and collaborate with cross functional teams to determine replacements and process for eliminating the EOL equipment from the Field Operations.
- Participate in various special events as business dictates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
