We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's fast-paced Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the accounting and financial reporting for our investment portfolios. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our client's organization by effectively managing key financial aspects of our client's business.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Manage the accounting and reconciliation processes for our investment funds.

2. Help prepare and review financial statements and monthly NAV statements. Support the annual audit and prepare tax information.

3. Provide detailed analytics and performance data to portfolio managers.

4. Prepare investor reports and calculate management and incentive fees.

5. Assist with presentations for LP meetings, due diligence, KYC processes, and lender requests. Work with compliance and legal teams on filings and reporting.

6. Support various special projects, including improving controls and process automation, and onboarding new platforms and products.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA or CMA) is highly preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.

3. Proven expertise in marketplace lending or unsecured consumer loans.

4. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

5. Proven expertise in managing large datasets and utilizing advanced data analytics tools; demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial information and provide accurate insights.

6. High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

7. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
