Job Description
The Investment Sales Associate is responsible for a variety of assigned duties working under the guidance and mentorship of the Sales Manager and Senior Sales Officers. The associate will participate in an elevated training program designed to develop and prepare for a career as an Investment Sales Officer. The associate is responsible for obtaining knowledge as well as developing relationships over the program lifecycle in order to represent a full range of fixed income knowledge. This includes participation in ‘Institutional Sales Officer New Hire Training ‘, as well as advanced training calls known as ‘New Hire Development’ (NDP). The Investment Sales Associate will be provided training and guidance focused on the Fixed Income market, including but not limited to : sales training, client presentations, marketing strategies, overcoming objections, networking, industry knowledge, compliance and client pipeline management.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will work to develop relationships and knowledge in the fixed income space
- You will be fully educated to represent the fixed income lifecycle
- You will be familiar with the customer base of the Investment Sales Officers
- You will present and deliver customer presentations
- You will call and have communication with contacts of sale of securities with prospective customers
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field of study and 0-1 years of directly related experience in fixed income securities and / or 4-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
