LHHCamas, WashingtonLHH is seeking a Software Engineering Manager on behalf of a client located in the Vancouver, WA area. The IT Software Engineering Manager oversees software development, project leadership, and ensures high-quality software delivery. Responsibilities include project direction, resource development, adherence to plans, influencing strategy, process improvement, risk management, and onsite communication.
Responsibilities :
Guides teams in developing new features and processes, managing requirements, design, and handoff.
Recruits, nurtures, and maintains skilled team members for quality software delivery.
Develops and manages project plans, ensuring commitments are met and providing regular updates.
Collaborates on business strategy, supporting planning cycles with partner input.
Implements and influences operational systems for product development needs, driving continuous improvement.
Addresses issues, balances program risks, and facilitates technical decision-making.
Ensures effective communication through regular onsite presence.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
5+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of software product management, requirements gathering, and software process management.
3+ years working on or directly supporting high-tech component manufacturing.
1+ years managing / directing engineers.
Ability to motivate, focus, and coach project staff.
Experience with software process management systems and tools.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems, .NET, C#, and C.
Experience in equipment automation software development.
Desired : Extensive experience in software development and management, equipment automation using LabVIEW, and knowledge of IT infrastructure.
Salary range : $100,000 - $130,000
