: Trane Technologies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that our industrial water chillers meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves inspecting products at various stages of the manufacturing process, identifying defects, and ensuring that all products meet company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Safety : Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Inspection and Testing : Conduct thorough inspections and tests on industrial water chillers at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Prepare reports on findings and communicate results to relevant departments
Defect Identification : Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in products. Work with production teams to address and resolve quality issues
Compliance : Ensure that all products meet company, industry, and regulatory standards. Stay up to date with relevant quality standards and regulations
Continuous Improvement : Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
Collaboration : Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless quality control processes. Assist in training production staff on quality standards and procedures
Key Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality inspection or a related role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the HVAC or industrial equipment industry
Skills : Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
Knowledge : Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies. Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment
Communication : Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
2025 Base Pay Range (for Colorado Residents) : $21.63 – $25.28
