Under broad direction, works independently and may supervise architects and development teams to define the software and hardware architecture required to efficiently integrate applications and / or data across multiple computer systems or within a complex application landscape.
Job Duties
- Responsible for overseeing data collection, validation, and reporting processes across an organization. Ensures that accurate, timely, and actionable insights are delivered to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage team of developers and collaborating with multiple departments to maintain data integrity and optimize reporting systems.
- Collaborate with program leadership and other departments to align reporting with organizational goals.
- Act as a bridge between raw data and actionable business strategies.
- Leverages IT partners to support the data integration and reporting needs of the Business Units.
- Researches and applies emerging data and reporting platform technologies.
- Works across the Business Units and multiple IT organizations within Halliburton to help set the strategic data and reporting platform architecture for the company.
- Makes recommendations and establishes standards for major IT integration efforts within the company.
- Applies extensive knowledge and experience with various software techniques and tools to design interfaces between systems and within systems.
- May also work with industry standards bodies to influence IT standards that may affect the company's overall computing architecture.
- Works with senior software developers and integration architects on projects that require multiple systems / applications to be integrated and on large integration projects that may significantly impact the IT infrastructure of the company.
- Responsible for mentoring and developing other Development and Integration team members. Primary responsible for evaluation of new data and reporting platforms and technologies which may be used to enhance the integration of IT systems at Halliburton.
- Responsible for establishing and promoting software, system and data standards across the companies IT infrastructure.
- Supervises others; allocates and monitors work, coordinates similar activities within a functional area. Interprets and applies directions originating at a higher level.
- Develop and maintain enterprise dashboards and reporting frameworks using tools like Power BI, SSRS, and Oracle BI.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements aligned with Halliburton's operational goals.
- Optimize reporting performance for large-scale datasets hosted on Azure, Oracle Autonomous DB, and on-prem SQL environments.
- Oversee ETL processes and dataflows between ERP systems (SAP), Oracle databases, and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with Solution Build teams to integrate reporting into application lifecycle management.
