Job Summary :

As an IT Design Engineer / Field Services Engineer , you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and supporting advanced IT networks, wireless systems, and low-voltage infrastructure. This hybrid role demands both technical expertise and field service experience, enabling you to engage directly with clients while ensuring seamless network operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design & Implementation
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop comprehensive designs for IT networks, wireless systems, and low-voltage wiring projects.
• Oversee and execute the deployment of hardware, software, and infrastructure, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide expert-level diagnosis and resolution for complex technical challenges across network systems.
• Evaluate and enhance existing network infrastructures to improve performance, scalability, and security.
• Client Engagement & Leadership
• Serve as a technical advisor, fostering strong client relationships by delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service.
• Mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices.
Qualifications :
• Required :
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in designing, installing, and maintaining IT networks and wireless systems, including low-voltage wiring.
• Proficiency in network protocols, hardware configuration, and security practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Preferred :
• Certifications such as CCNP, CWNP, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience working with networking technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365).
• Expertise in structured wiring principles and practices.
• Prior experience in a client-facing or consultative role.
