Work with Martech and AdTech programs. Work closely with the Manager of Marketing Engineering, and partner with its peer development team members, other cross-functional IT teams, business stakeholders, and leadership teams distributed across geographical locations. Design, construct, and implement highly scalable data management systems, across multiple platform types. Implement and support highly scalable systems to support eCommerce or Marketing. Hands-on engineering responsibilities include building, installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, deployment, and performance tuning and optimization. Document the procedures / instructions for other team members to follow.Assist in troubleshooting issues. Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with Architecture, Marketing Engineering and Support, Project Managers, and other Business / IT teams in finding solutions to meet business needs. Identify opportunities and develop scripts to automate the tasks where possible to minimize the manual work and to produce high quality and consistent work. Diagnose, isolate, and debug problems and perform problem resolution. Assess technical risks, provide options, recommendations, and strategies to mitigate risks. Adhere to standard processes and procedures. Ensure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the supported area.Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Coordinate installation of software system. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Develop software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance.May telecommute. Reports to Plano, TX.Requirements / Special Skills : Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field and six (6) years of hands-on programming and integration experience using Java, J2EE / Spring, SOAP, and REST APIs.Experience must include : Six (6) years of experience with technologies like Spring Boot, Kubernetes, PCF, Containerization, or API Management.Six (6) years of experience with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (including Agile and Iterative development).Four (4) years of experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Four (4) years of experience with high-performance and high-frequency data streaming (using Kafka or similar).Four (4) years of experience decomposing a broad level business requirement into technical implementation.Three (3) years of experience with design patterns and best practices.Four (4) years of experience building consumer facing solutions and building applications on the public cloud.Experience with Martech or AdTech tools such as Adobe, Braze, or similar.
