One of the top AEC firms in the Kansas City area is looking to add an Application Specialist to their team. This position is supporting the Transmission & Distribution Global Practice, and will be aligned to the NIA (Networks, Automation and Integration) team.

In this role, the candidate will be working with the project team to create and update current platforms used in order to deliver to the client. The candidate will primarily be utilizing Power Applications by utilizing data modeling in order to build reports and dashboards for financials, sales metrics, resource management, forecasting and other necessary project deliverables.

Additional Responsibilities :

Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and maintenance.

Assists project staff in producing deliverables for project needs and requirements set forth by the project managers.

Assist with new software applications to support project delivery and data management initiatives.

Assist in technology and software applications to support all markets within the Company.

Write clean, efficient, well-documented code in C#, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python and Java.

Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues, ensuring performance and reliability.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating new tools and techniques into our development processes.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and best practices

Minimum of 3.0 GPA

Experience with web development frameworks (e. g., Angular, React) and / or cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, Azure)

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field

Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.

Proficiency in at least one programming language

Java, Python, C#, etc.)

Familiarity with version control systems (Ex. Git)

Understanding of data management (Ex. relational databases)

Understanding and practice of Agile concepts.
