Job Title : Manager of IT Programs and Desktop Management
Position Overview :
The Manager of IT Programs and Desktop Management oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of desktop computing environments and related IT programs within an organization. This role ensures the smooth operation, security, and alignment of desktop systems with business needs. Responsibilities include managing desktop hardware and software upgrades, user access controls, and technical support for end-users, while also coordinating larger IT programs related to desktop infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Desktop Management
- Oversee the lifecycle of desktop hardware and software, including procurement, deployment, upgrades, and disposal.
- Maintain desktop operating systems, configurations, and security settings.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to desktop computers and peripherals.
- Implement and enforce desktop security policies and standards.
- Manage user access controls and permissions.
