Job description

We are seeking a skilled IT Networking Technical & Construction Specialist to assist with multiple ongoing construction projects. This role will involve reviewing construction plans, performing site inspections, and working closely with General Contractors (GC), Construction Project Managers , and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of IT networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT networking combined with experience in construction processes, with a focus on site coordination, equipment installation, and facility transitions.

  • Construction Plan Review & Site Inspections
  • Project Coordination & Documentation
  • OFCI Equipment Management
  • OFOI Equipment Coordination
  • Project Management & Support

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in IT networking, particularly in the context of construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction site inspections and collaborating with GCs, project managers, and other construction professionals.
  • Experience with developing and managing IT infrastructure drawings, rack layouts, and equipment labeling.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle RFIs, submittals, and documentation processes.
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate installations of OFCI and OFOI equipment, ensuring compliance with project plans and timelines.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, installation standards, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities effectively.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Familiarity with fire department and healthcare-centric construction projects.
  • Experience with tenant improvements and office reconfigurations.
  • Certification in IT networking or construction-related fields (e.g., Cisco, PMP).
