Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to assist in delivering high-quality technical services to internal customers. This role focuses on resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues while supporting end-user systems such as desktops and laptops. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow established processes under close supervision. Location : Westminster, COPay Rate : Up to $26 an hourSecurity Clearance : Must be able to obtain and hold a TS / SCI clearance upon hire Key Responsibilities : -Provide technical support by identifying, prioritizing, and resolving issues related to desktop, laptop, and networked systems.-Coordinate all phases of desktop support including installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of software, hardware, and operating systems.-Monitor and maintain desktop systems to ensure data integrity and security.-Assist with planning and performing basic hardware installations and system configurations.-Monitor system performance and equipment health to ensure optimal operation.-Maintain accurate records of support issues and resolutions.-Collaborate with vendors and escalate issues as necessary.-Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines in daily operations. Required Skills / Qualifications : -1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical support role.-Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop / laptop hardware, and troubleshooting tools.-Familiarity with basic networking concepts (, IP, DNS, DHCP).-High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) : -Ideal for candidates with foundational IT experience looking to grow within a support-focused environment.
