Introduction
The Security Operations Section is hiring an IT Security Analyst! The DET is looking for a hands-on technical analyst who specializes in cyber security incident management. This position is critical to the Enterprise, ensuring incidents are properly handled in accordance with best security practices. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
All employees are expected to live and work in Wisconsin. This position will have the option of working remotely upon agreement of the supervisor but may be asked to come into the office periodically. This schedule may change based on operational needs and organizational requirements.

Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Security Operations Supervisor, this position functions as a technical analyst in cyber security incident management for the enterprise ensuring incidents are properly identified, analyzed, communicated, actioned / defended, investigated and reported. Salary Information
Starting salary for the IS Enterprise Technical Services Senior (07-34) be between $29.27- $45.41 hourly. A twelve-month probationary period may be required. Current State employees will be compensated in accordance with the current State Compensation Plan.
Job Details
Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and / or background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
All employees are expected to live and work in Wisconsin. Certain positions within this Department may allow remote / work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit.
