Kiddie Academy of CTX has an opening for a dynamic, caring and flexible person to join us as a Support Teacher / Teacher Aid .

This is a vital position requiring a positive attitude, creativity, collaboration, and most of all the versatility to work in any our classrooms with children ranging from 6-weeks through school age.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for helping prepare and implementing proprietary curriculum, and assist in completing assessments and reports for the children daily
• Helps and supervises children during all activities
• Speak with parents and / or guardians during pick-up and drop-off hours
• Counsels children when social, academic, or adjustment problems when they arise
• Ensures that the appearance, cleanliness, and environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained and safe
• Helps children with meal times and clean-up
• Assist classrooms ranging from young infant to school-age children in areas such as : paperwork,  daily notes, student accident reports, and attendance reports
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned
