Job Description

Summary :

Provide internal employee support and technical assistance on company-supported computer hardware, software, and systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support for company’s computer environment and corporate network, including supported hardware, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business applications and peripheral devices.
  • Utilize IT ticketing system to respond to requests for technical assistance and log all IT support interactions.
  • Responsible for opening and closing service requests; manage classification of requests; assigning and tracking of requests, and completion of requests.
  • Provide support and maintenance for in-house computer systems, including carrying out diagnosis, upgrade, repairs, maintenance, and installation of all equipment and hardware devices, as well as ensuring top performance of computer systems.
  • Offer outstanding customer support and excellent communication in accordance with company’s procedures and policies while working with corporate network users (including remote users), as well as with other service areas.
  • Ensure a positive support experience for company employees; develop a good relationship and trust by exhibiting professional attitude and a welcoming approach to understanding customers’ problems.
  • Perform administrative duties, including scheduling of equipment, or any other services / items for company employees; organize shipments to remote sites if required.
  • Interact with network services.

Job Requirements :

Skills / Qualifications / Competencies / Experience :

  • Possession of advanced computer / software troubleshooting and Windows operation system experience.
  • Possession of advanced experience with Active Directory, Office 365 administration, Office 365 application suite, Windows 10 / 11 operating systems.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and hardware.
  • Basic understanding of PowerShell syntax and commands preferred.
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant support experience
  • Customer service oriented and possesses good oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong ability to work effectively with various levels of an organization.
  • Strong listening skills to fully understand what an end user’s needs and / or requests are.
  • The ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks and manage time efficiently.
