Job descriptionBachelors degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in insurance claims handling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role . Strong knowledge of claims processes, insurance regulations, and industry best practices. Experience handling medical or supplement life claims required. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Supervisor to oversee a team of claims adjusters and ensure efficient claims processing. This role involves managing claims workflows, mentoring team members, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and support a team of claims adjusters in handling property, casualty, auto, or other insurance claims.
- Monitor claim files for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to enhance team productivity.
- Review complex or escalated claims and provide resolution guidance.
- Collaborate with internal departments (legal, underwriting, customer service) to streamline claims handling.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve claims processing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Prepare reports and analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
