About this RoleIn this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the General Manager of Live Journalism and broader Live Journalism team to ensure successful planning, execution and delivery of events. This position will be responsible for managing administrative tasks such as the creation and maintenance of event briefing documents, team calendars, meeting notes, and action items, as well as serving as a key onsite team member on event days.Your ResponsibilitiesAssist in maintaining event documents, timelines, and checklistsHelp track vendor contracts, invoices, and paymentsProvide basic research support for venues, vendors, and suppliersCoordinate shipments and deliveries for event materialsAssist with event setup, registration, and guest check-inSupport team members with coordination of signage, materials, and other onsite itemsCollect and organize event photos, attendee lists, and feedbackAssist in compiling post-event reports and summariesAct as a point of contact for general team requests and informationHelp distribute meeting notes, reminders, and action itemsProvide light support for internal team events, trainings, and activitiesMaintain organized files for event materials, contracts, and team resourcesHelp manage team-wide calendars and coordinate availabilitySupport the General Manager of Events with email management, meeting agenda preparation, and follow-ups as directedSupport the General Manager of Events by managing a calendar of internal and external callsWhat makes you qualifiedBachelor's degree or equivalent experience1-2 years of experience in event coordination or administrative supportProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word, and Google WorkspaceStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsSalary Range$60,000 - $65,000 / year.
