Position Description : Education & Work Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
tPassing score of 65% or higher on electrical knowledge written assessment (Required)
tSuccessful completion of a practical skills assessment (Required)
tPost-secondary education (Preferred)
tExperience in heavy, industrial manufacturing (Preferred)
Primary Duties :
tPerforms all onsite work in a safe manner adhering to all Berg pipe safety guidelines for PPE, lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry. Identifies and rectifies unsafe conditions for themselves and others.
tReceives instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
tInterprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems.
tUses AB and Siemens PLC software to troubleshoot and repair down equipment in a timely manner.
tKnowledgeable in the install and troubleshooting of all types and sizes of AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, electronic scales, power distribution, communication systems, inverters and motor drives, conduit and fittings, soldering and replacing parts.
tSafely operates common industrial electrician equipment including but not limited to conduit bender, drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, man lift, forklift, overhead crane, etc.
tOperates electronic and electrical test equipment. (Megohmmeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, amp meter, laptop, etc.)
tUsing Maximo software, logs all job tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily.
tPerforms other miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.
tMust be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights, weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
t$32 - $35 hourly plus weekly and quarterly incentive bonuses
tShift differential for evening and overnight shift work
tPremium pay for time worked on Sundays and holidays
