Journeyman Electrician - Detroit, MI

Job Description

Candidates will be assigned to an industrial facility. They will be expected to perform service work and repairs on facility equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and make necessary repairs. Work will be conducted on rooftops and within the facility, requiring climbing ladders and using lifts. The position offers 40 hours per week with openings across three shifts : 1st shift (6 AM - 2 : 30 PM), 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 : 30 PM), and 3rd shift (10 PM - 6 : 30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipate and respond to customer needs.
• Inspect assigned areas on a routine basis and perform maintenance to keep the facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, including replacing defective washers, mending broken pipes, and unclogging drains.
• Report any major maintenance needs and recommend corrective actions as appropriate.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.29 - $36.29 / hr.
