Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Buyer to join our client's team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a buyer for large-scale facilities and demonstrate proficiency in Excel, particularly in creating reports and graphs. This role is essential in ensuring that our client's procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with their company's goals.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Management : Handle the purchasing of goods and services for large-scale facilities, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
Vendor Relations : Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery of products.
Inventory Control : Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations, coordinating with relevant departments to maintain optimal stock levels.
Data Analysis : Use Excel to analyze procurement data, generate reports, and create graphs that provide insights into purchasing patterns, costs, and efficiency.
Budget Management : Assist in the development and management of the procurement budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Compliance : Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Continuous Improvement : Proactively seek out and implement improvements to procurement processes, leveraging best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as a buyer for large-scale facilities.
Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis, reporting, and graph creation.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build positive relationships with vendors.
Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of procurement and reporting.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
