Junior Underwriting Analyst
What does a successful Junior Underwriting Analyst do at Fiserv?
You will perform credit analysis and underwriting activities, evaluating financial position and credit worthiness, for prospective and existing commercial, merchant, and portfolio accounts. If you enjoy identifying trends in processing, reading consumer credit reports as well as credit reports on businesses, and completing risk assessments and financial analysis, we want to hear from you!
What you will do :
- Maintain and review current information on existing accounts.
- Review credit history to assess credit worthiness of new prospective clients.
- Ensure a balanced risk and revenue trade-off consistent with credit policy and loss target expectations.
- Mitigate over $2.5 million in risk in a one-year period.
- Investigate the processing activity on accounts that have exceeded the parameters set in our risk management system and make a real time decision if the account is conducting business in a fraudulent manner or in a way that increases the credit exposure to Fiserv and our partners.
- Have a high level of autonomy and independent judgment in making decisions and interacting effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, partners, and vendors as well as customers.
