Job descriptionProficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance standards. Experience with cloud-based databases and services (e.G., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.G., Python, Shell) for automation tasks. Certifications in database technologies or cloud platforms.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database design, development, and optimization, with expertise in managing complex data environments. As a Database Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases.
