Project Overview :

Craig Technologies is supporting Bechtel the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtels scope of service in Sentinels current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.

A major contractor for the United States and allied governments Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects missile-defense infrastructure base operations procurement and project management and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job Summary :

In this role you will participate in the design development and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. You will collaborate and support other engineering disciplines for mechanical matters. Your professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques and criteria will enable you to make impactful contributions to the team.

Major Responsibilities :

Level 1

Participates in the design developmentmodification and evaluation of mechanical components andprocesses used utilizingrelevant Engineering Department Procedures(EDPs) design standards and guides and BechtelStandard Application Programs (BSAPs)

Compiles adjusts and correlates data that willdevelop professional work knowledge andabilities through the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques proceduresand criteria utilizing relevant EngineeringDepartment Procedures (EDPs) designstandards and guides and Bechtel StandardApplication Programs (BSAPs)

Provides input to and / or maintains technicallogs and records

Coordinates work and collaborates with otherengineering disciplines

Provides direct support to other engineeringdisciplines for mechanical related matters

Coordinates development and presentation ofmaterial when requested

Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies designsreports or proposals

Level 2

Evaluates selects and applies standardmechanicalengineering methods techniques procedures andcriteria using independent judgment in makingadaptations and modifications

Provides technical assistance to other mechanicalpersonnel and will interact with project functionsthe customer and regulatory agency personnel inthe resolution of complex regulatory issues andindustry codes and standards

Provides assistance toproject and constructionmanagement in identifying and complying withproject mechanical requirements and in addressingissues as they arise during project execution

Education and Experience Requirements :

Level 1

Requires a bachelors degree in Mechanical Chemical or Nuclear Engineering with 1-2 years of experience

Level 2

Requires a bachelors degree in Mechanical Chemical or Nuclear Engineering (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Knowledge and Skills :

Passed Engineering in Training / Fundamentals of Engineering Examination in USA (Mechanical or related Engineering).

Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as AS9100.

Possess active security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance.

Basic knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications or Unified Facilities Guide Specifications using SpecsIntact

Basic knowledge of mechanical system design including sizing and equipment selection piping and instrumentation diagrams and requirements verification

The salary range for this role is $110000 - $155000; however Craig Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer for employment including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education / training and preferred skills and knowledge.
