Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join a Federal Program company located in Colorado Springs, CO .

This job opens for applications on 2 / 27 / 2025. Applications for this job will be accepted for at least 30 days from the posting date.

Responsibilities of the Junior Java Developer include :

Build web and backend applications / services for a credentialing / case management system using Java / Spring-based REST APIs.
Work with a team of developers to create next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies.
Utilize AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java to develop and implement software solutions.
Participate in a continuous integration environment to ensure high-quality and efficient software delivery.
Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.

Qualifications for the Junior Java Developer include :

2+ years of Java development experience to build enterprise applications

1+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git)

Experience in a large-scale Federal IT Program

Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework

Must have Active Secret Security Clearance

Compensation for the Junior Java Developer includes :

Salary Range : $85,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
