Lonza in Vacaville is hiring an ERP Business System Analyst ll to manage the production master data lifecycle, ensuring compliance across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance. This role involves maintaining SAP Master Data Objects, optimizing data structures, and supporting global SAP projects.
Key responsibilities :
Partners with internal and external stakeholders within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Technology, Quality and Finance organizations to implement the production master data lifecycle in SAP (design, develop, deploy, maintain, optimize, audit, and retire).
Maintain a high-level understanding of data-related business processes and systems to ensure SAP data domain compliance and alignment.
Improve data structure quality and supply chain process efficiency by studying current practices and recommending data structure modifications.
Support both local and global SAP projects, participate in user acceptance testing, and provide valuable insights on user requirements.
Proactively identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions for improving written procedures, business process instructions, workflows, and training materials.
Develop technical reports for customers by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Key requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, computer science, or equivalent experience preferred.
Proficient GMP experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with computer-based systems in a validated environment, and strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to coordinate large sets of electronic data and use Business Intelligence systems to generate reports.
Experience with other business systems such as Manufacturing Execution, Batch Management, or Automation systems is a plus.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on continuous improvement behaviors.

As required by law in this state, the quoted salary range for this position is $93,000-$149,000. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities; while also allowing for differentiation on performance based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at the company between the lower and the middle part of the applicable range. We tailor our offers within the range based on job-related factors, including organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic area and the selected candidate’s experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and / or communication skills and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. This range is only inclusive of base salary, and base pay is just one component of Lonza’s total compensation package for employees.
